Season 2 Episode 8: It's officially 2021!

Can 2021 be any worse than 2020?  In this episode, we discuss our short break around the holidays, recap the 2020 OU and KSU football seasons, review our disasterous predictions, and why you should pick whoever plays KSU in basketball every week. 

We also dive into the money congress is spending in the new Covid relief bill, and touch on the KSU basketball loss to Fort Hays State.

Season 2 Episode 7: Why are some Covid rules so ridiculous?

This one is a bit sports heavy....the second half of the podcast we wrap up the KSU football season, discuss the rest of the OU fotball season, and discuss the college basketball season up to this point.

 

We also discus KSHSAA reversing their decision of no fans, discuss what Phillip saw in DFW this weekend, some random thoughts on the possible Election fixing, why some Covid rules are so ridiculous, and much more.

Season 2 Episode 6: It is our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Since it has been exactly 1 year since we started this project, we thought we would do an extra episode this week! In this episode, we discuss the upcoming Big 12 basketball season, KSU vs. ISU and Bedlam coming up this weekend, and we dive into whether student loans should be forgiven, the Christmas parade being cancelled, and Evergy's proposed rate hike on solar customers.

 

We also talk about THANKSGIVING! The food, the traditions, and Kevin has a few hacks to help out the chef's out there!

 

Oh, and we bring Morgan on to sample some "Dave's Insanity Sauce". OUCH.

Season 2 Episode 5: Can Wine Fix the Presidential Election Results?

There is a lot to unpack in this episode.  We discussed KSU and OU's football games against KU over the past few weeks, we dive into the presidential election results and where we go from here, and we talk a bit about the changes USD305 decided to make.

 

But more importantly, we talk WINE! Stephanie Baird comes on to tell us about clean crafted wines, as well as spritzers and Mixables from Scout & Cellar. Of course, Phillip and I had to taste them while we talked.

Season 2 Episode 4: What's New In Salina!

In this episode, we discuss the upcoming KSU vs. KU game and some new restaurants and local shops that are opening or have recently opened. We discuss the situation with Wichita State Basketball's head coach, and why you should go to Hairball in a couple of weeks!

We also have a special guest on with us, Amber Renfro from Coldwell Banker here in Salina to discuss the current craziness in the housing market. And yes, she quizzed in her pants....

Season 2 Episode 3: Kansas State > OU!

In this episode, the boys discuss the golf tournament they played in a week ago, the passing of Eddie Van Halen, and the closing of the Brookville Hotel.

However, the bulk of this podcast is spent discussing and breaking down the KSU vs. OU football game from a couple of weeks ago, where the two teams are currently, and what the future holds. Phil goes off on OU football, and a short preview of the Red River Rivalry and the KSU vs. TCU game this coming weekend.

Season 2 Episode 2: Can We Please Get Kids Back In School?

In this episode, P&K go on a rant pleading to the local school district to get kids back to school. They discuss the college football predictions they got right, the predictions they got wrong, and make their own predictions on the OU vs. KSU football game this coming Saturday. Oh, and Hairball is coming to town!

We recorded this episode right up until kick off of the Kansas City Chiefs 2020 season opener.

In this episode, we discuss what Phillip and Kevin were busy with during their hiatus, share some funny Covid 19 stories, and preview the Kansas State and OU football teams. We make predictions on their finishes in the conference, what we think the Big 12 standings will look like at the end of the season, and make some interesting predictions.
